EDLC Municipal Election Endorsements

August 27, 2021

We have received a lot of feedback from affiliates, delegates and supporters asking when we will be releasing our endorsements for the municipal elections. Well we have some great news, the day has come!

After two years of conversations, much deliberation and due process the Edmonton & District Labour Council passed our endorsements for the upcoming municipal election.

We worked together with community organizations, activists and citizens to inform the “Act for Edmonton” campaign. Thanks to this work we were able to identify the issues working people need to see addressed in the upcoming municipal election. Through countless hours working with candidates who feel they possess the same values, we helped ensure that the issues affecting working people are being heard and discussed widely.

We are proud to endorse candidates with a proven track record of working to improve the lives of working people in Edmonton & area. We hope you are too, and we encourage you to share, volunteer, and donate until it hurts to ensure that working people FINALLY get some say at City Hall. We encourage you to reach out to endorsed candidates directly or get in touch with us for more information on how to get involved.
